What fertilizer is best for Paphiopedilum and phalaenopsis orchids to make them bloom again?
I have 20-10-20, but have been recommended 20/10/1910, I am having trouble finding.
Paphiopedilum Fertilize often with a high nitrogen fertilizer as Wonderlizer 09/09/1925. The best way fertilizing is "Weekly", loosely, which means water with fertilizer 3 out of 4 times, but each one of those moments dilute the fertilizer accordingly. Phals are "Heavy" feeders, especially when in full growth. During the spring through early fall, fertilizing every seven days, several clear waterings in between, will make your plants very happy Phal. In the late fall and winter, a light feeding once a month is enough. The formula of fertilizer should match the potting medium. It is recommended not to urea-based fertilizers at half strength. Non urea fertilizers provide 100% nitrogen immediately available, which urea based fertilizers do not. We recommend Grow More fertilizers, which also have micro nutrients, to provide power for new growth, as well as support for flowers. In the middle of the resistance to grow more to offer four times more bang for the buck. 10/20/1920 Use with coconut chips, tree inorganic aggregates fern, charcoal, or more, but use 30-10-10 with fir bark, as the destruction of microbes his need to bark N in their diet. The peat-based combinations, such as ProMix ®, often have additional fertilizer, less than what fertilizer should be used with this medium. formula is selected, we recommend half strength in each application. As with most orchids, Phalaenopsis roots are sensitive to fertilizer salt build up. Phalaenopsis are very fond of organic fertilizers such as fish emulsion and manure tea.
